In not-so-good Ultra-related stuff: Dyna is officially on hiatus. Rest of the team on both sides doesn’t think it’d be a good idea to continue actively working on the show, what with the four series that got licensed out of the blue back in November, and with the ongoing/renewed legal battles between Chaiyo (wankers extraordinaire) and Tsuburaya. C’est la vie!
In GOOD news: Crunchyroll is licensing Ultraman X, which starts airing tomorrow!
I really can’t think of words to describe this episode. Not sure if it’s because I found it unsettling or if it’s because I’m dead tired. I’ll probably come up with something in the morning.
On a technical note: there’s something different than usual with the release (I was bored/found it amusing). If anyone finds it irritating, switch to the alternate sub track (there’s two).
The other Ultra series that aired last year, before Ultraman Ginga. While this show is called a sequel to the original Ultra Q, you don’t really need much knowledge about it to watch this.
